After we got ready, we walked down to McCombs Coach Travel to catch our bus for our Game of Thrones and Northern Ireland tour. We checked in and got on. Off we went. Our first stop was at Carrickfergus Castle. You can tour it, but we stopping so you could get a coffee at the little coffee stand that is there. Our next stop was Carnlough Harbour where Arian came up out of the water. A nice view of the harbor. Back on the bus to Portaneevy Viewing Point. Just beautiful looking over the water. Then to Ballycastle for a stop that included a Spar where we got salads for lunch. A short ride to The Fullerton Arms. There is a Game of Thrones door at the bar. There are 10 of these doors, and there is a passport that you can get and have it stamped when you see them all. Since we had lunch we went to the back where there were some covered picnic tables. Another couple sat with us for a bit and we chatted.

Next stop was The Giants Causeway. Neat rock formations from when the lava cooled over one hundred years.

A quick stop at Dunluce Castle which was the Greyjoys Castle. Then to Old Bushmills Distillery. There was a distillery there and also an ice cream shop about a 10 minute walk towards the town. We went to the Spar across the street and took some money out of the ATM and continued our walk. We found Mcconaghys Bushmills which serves Morelli Ice Cream.The ice cream was good.

The Dark Hedges were next. After a short walk to see them, we got a tea and coffee. There is now a hotel here also which is kind of amazing. Back on the bus and on our way back to Belfast.

The views along the drive were beautiful. Our driver Karl was full of knowledge about our trip, and narrated along the way. There was a bicyclist on our way that he referred to as an organ donor. These roads are narrow, and it is kind of amazing that these buses get some of the places that they do.

We passed an area where some fairy trees had been cut down and now have rock sculptures standing in place.
